Sustainable Advocacy Workshop

Who: Dr. Brandon Inabinet, Assistant Professor Communication Studies
What: Sustainable Advocacy Workshop
When: 2:30-4:30 PM Thursday, November 3, 2011
Where: Shi Center Community Room - Right in our backyards!

Dr. Inabinet was awarded a Mellon Fellowship through the Shi Center and is hosting a workshop that he mentioned is worth while for several reasons:

1. The ideas will be published, and you all would be co-creators of knowledge for that publication.
2. The information we discuss could help your groups (if you are involved) better utilize resources to spread information, manage messages, etc.
3. You can come to understand your own interest (or disinterest) in sustainability better, and how it functions in a community setting like Furman.
4. It should be painless and possibly even fun.

Let me know by WEDNESDAY no later than 9PM if you are interested in attending and I will send Dr. Inabinet an e-mail with the number of Greenbelt Residents who wish to attend. ALSO, if you attend you will receive a local gift card.

Thanks! And, don't forget to read all about this month's (NOVEMBER) theme.

 Peace,
J.
